Eşi Edinburg Dükü Phillip ile birlikte ziyaret ettikleri Belfast’taki sette oyuncular ve yapım ekibi tarafından karşılanan Kraliçe, dizide kullanılan ve bir sembol haline gelen kılıçtan demir tahta oturmayı reddetti. Ancak Kraliçe,tahtın küçük bir kopyasını evine götürmeyi ihmal etmedi.
Dizide kullanılan kostüm, dekor ve aksesuarlar da Kraliyet Ailesi’nin oldukça ilgisini çekti.
Kraliçe ve eşinin bir önceki durağı ise şimdi bir müzeye dönüşmüş olan ve barış sürecinden önce ayrılıkçıların hapsedildiği eski Crumlin Road hapishanesi oldu.
Kraliçeye bu gezisinde hapishanenin eski tutukluları Kuzey İrlanda yönetiminin Başbakanı Peter Robinson ile İrlanda Cumhuriyetçi Ordusu IRA’nın eski liderlerinden ve mevcut Kuzey İrlanda yönetimi Başbakan Yardımcısı Martin McGuinness eşlik etti.
